Contract Publishing for Chinese Open Access Journals

Contract Publishing for Chinese Open Access Journals

With 17 years’ experience in servicing the Chinese author community and over 25 years’ experience servicing the needs of international STEM publishers, Compuscript leveraged this knowledge to become a full contract publishing and consultancy service to assist learned Chinese organizations looking to develop international English language peer-reviewed open- access journals. Our customers include the Chinese Ministry of Health and some of our titles include, Cardiovascular Innovations and Applications (CVIA), BIO Integration (BIOI), Creative Arts in Education and Therapy (CAET). We not only provide the editorial, production and readership marketing infrastructure to allow the journal to function, but also guide and help the journal’s owner to understand and adapt to international best practice in journal publishing. We encourage full engagement with and membership of organizations such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA), and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). We actively work with them to become leaders in transparency and reproducibility in their domains.

Compuscript allows our Chinese publishing clients to have a trusted partner who understands the needs not only of their native Chinese authors, but also of international authors in general. With a history of academic publishing previously focused solely on an indigenous scientific community, launching and running internationally focused titles is a major challenge for Chinese societies and institutions.
